SORRY FOR GOING AWOL. We've been kinda busy with things. As for the 31 Day Challenge... yeah, that really was a challenge. HOW YOU DO, NAIL BLOGGERS?! We give up on that one. :( We have a few designs done for the challenge, but we haven't had time to write up posts for them. AGGH we know, we suck. D: But, we have a few holiday designs coming up soon! Yay..!? We'll try to write up a bunch of posts for you guys during this downtime. SORRY GUYS. We love you, hope you still love us too! :)

31DC2013: Day 1- Red!

Hey lovelies IT'S FIRST DAY OF THE 31 DAY CHALLENGE! ...while others are already halfway through we're just starting. AWESOME POSSUM.

31 Day Challenge 2013!

Hey guys! We have an announcement today...

We will be doing the 31 Day Challenge this year (and we know, we're starting late)! We're both so excited because this is our first nail art challenge and it's more fun doing it together and with the rest of the nail community! We won't be posting once/twice a week like we normally do, since we are both doing it as we go. Does that make sense? :P We won't be doing it everyday and as you can tell, we didn't start September 1st. WE'LL TRY OUR BEST THOUGH! Wish us luck because we'll need it haha! Day 1 Red Nails are coming along quite nicely :) Talk to you later lovely people.

Today I got some really old nails I did and then I re-did them so they look nicer. Get it? Good. Took the idea from One Nail To Rule Them All's Then and Now's! Polish Collection- Blues!

Hey guys!

So while my nails are growing, I was thinking of giving you a tour of my nail polish collection! (Which is not as big as you think it is :P)

So today, the blues!

Cool Toned Gwadients

Helllooooo! Got some GRADIENTS today! See what I added to this gradient after the jump...

I added HEARTS! Well. One Heart. I reallyreallyreally like these! Mostly because I just love cool coloured designs and this reminds me of the ocean! I LOVE OCEANS.

To do this gradient, I didn't follow the thenailasaurus' tutorial like usual. Instead, I just painted the green, teal, blue, and purple polishes directly onto the sponge. I slightly overlapped them so that they blend nicer. I hope that made sense haha. T_T

Finally, I just dabbed the makeup sponge onto my nails! It was easier than how I normally do it, but thenailasaurus' way still gives that flawless gradient effect!

I really like how these turned out, mostly because it was quick and easy. I followed this tutorial. Also this was my first time doing nails with clothes on them! Yup, it's pretty darn exciting... Sorry for the lack of pictures! Enjoy!

I did these when I got a bunch of polishes from two of my friends for my birthday! And the polishes were from Garage for only 4 for $10 I think? They all happened to be in the same colour scheme... which led to STRIPES!

Heyheyhey! So I have a typical manicure today... but with a TWIST! Gradient Dots! :O ooooh aaaahhh... I hope you guys like this colour I just noticed I use it WAY too much, but I don't plan on stopping haha. IT'S JUST TOO BEAUTIFUL.

Today I have some beach-themed nails... in the middle of winter!! (MMMHHHMM I WENT THERE.)  Look at that snow! Thank you Sarah at chalkboardnails for this bee-yoo-tee-full design, I just had to try it out :)

Teal Half Hearts for Valentine's

This is the only design that I got to do for Valentine's this year. WAAAH! I wish I had time to do more but these will have to do for now. The hearts were inspired by Whitney's post over at Dressed Up Nails!

For the accent nail, I painted my nail white, then made a vertical line down the middle with the teal. Then I painted a heart and filled in the teal parts! 

The heart I painted looks really pointy at the top corners. Am I going crazy or does someone else see that too?! But I still love this design! Maybe I'll try it next year. BAI GAIZ.

Hoppy Easter!

HAPPY(belated)EASTER! Did you guys get lots of chocolates and candy from the Easter Bunny!? I sure did ;) Easter is THE SECOND BEST holiday when it comes to free candy. Halloween will always be #1. So today I have some Easter egg-ish nails!

These nails might look OKAY in the pictures but close up, it looks like some FAIL NAILS. EVEN THOUGH IN OUR THEME SONG IT SAYS OUR NAILS NEVER FAIL. The thumb is the only one that turned out well! I also did the right hand, but my rightie is not a very good model and is quite shy.

So I will admit, I do have a couple of these, and I was looking at my Winnie-the-Pooh one a couple days ago and said to myself: THESE WOULD LOOK AWESOME ON NAYULS!

Yet Another Manicure Inspired by MrCandiipants

So... I have a confession to make. Paula and I are a teeeensy weeeeeensy bit sorta kinda just a little obsessed with Candice from mrcandiipants. Go check her out! You won't regret it. :)

And alas, I did another design inspired by her florals that just use the brushes in the bottles. This was really easy and it's great to do when you're in a rush! All I needed was the polish, no tools required! I even did both hands 'cause it's THAT easy!

Hello, People of the internet!

It's my turn to post today, so I've got some CHESHIRE CAT NAILS!!

I got the design from Nails By Coewless. I have already done a design inspired by her (the monster nails I posted a couple days ago) so go check her blog out!

I worked really hard on Chesh's face, and it has less detail than the original design by Nailsbycoewless! I wonder how long it took her...

SOOOOOOOOO do you like them? I do! I love Disney, and the Cheshire Cat is my favourite character from Alice in Wonderland, so I felt proud to have him grin happily on my nails! :3
