31DC2013: Day 2- Orange!

Welcome to Day 2 of the 31DC2013, Orange Day! 

At this rate, we'll be done around March! 

Sorry we're so slow, we have lots of work from school and can't seem to find enough time to paint our nails and write the posts :(

Hey guys! It's the orange day and I did... ORANGES!

 

I really didn't know what to do for this day so I just did oranges! They turned out so cute and I LOVE IT. I did some sliced oranges, full oranges and half-cut oranges. ALL THE ORANGES! The white base makes a big difference in my opinion. :D

 

On my right hand I just did polkadots because ain't nobody got time fo dat. :P

 

In the photo above, you can see the detail that I added to the skin of the oranges. I used lighter and darker shades of the colour and just dabbed it on the orange with a thin brush. KEEPIN' IT INTERESTING.

 

 

Orange nails for orange day calls for a picture with an orange... but.. I didn't have any oranges in the fridge... so here's a picture with clementine. Oops, GOODBYE!

IT'S MAGIKARP (THE POKEMON)

I am sorry but I truly think that Magikarp is the best pokemon ever and someday when he evolves he will beat the poop right out of every other pokemon. I copied this from mrcandiipants because she is the best.

So thanks for putting up with our slow and steady pace (you know what they say, slow and steady wins the race... or is that just for races?)
