31DC2013: Day 1- Red!

Hey lovelies IT'S FIRST DAY OF THE 31 DAY CHALLENGE! ...while others are already halfway through we're just starting. AWESOME POSSUM.

I know we're a little bit late on the 31DC, but BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

I HAVE A STRIPED GRADIENT (THANK YOU MRCANDIIPANTS)

I did these BEFORE Meagan suggested doing the 31DC, so I'm going to cheat (is this cheating??) and say that these are my Red day nails! YAY

Pretty much my nails had grown from me not biting them, and just in time for back to school! So I did these as a Back to School mani and also a Let's Celebrate My Nails Look Kind Of Average Sized Now mani. :) Hope you like them! :D

HEYHEYHEY MEAGAN'S TAKING OVER THIS LITTLE PARADE. Okay well I'm in caps because I'm REALLY excited about these nails. I think it's one of my most detailed manis!

But of course, I cannot take credit for this beautiful design. It takes full inspiration from Nails by Celine. Just discovered her blog on tumblr a few weeks ago, such insane talent! 

In the sunlight, you can see the detailed flowers and dots and and and and what. But in real life, since all the colours are not very contrasting it's kinda hard to see :( I think my dad is secretly really into nails/art because when he saw these he said, "Meagan, next time you do this design, don't choose similar colours so that it will pop out of your nails more. Remember, contrasting is important!" or something along those lines. AND I WAS LIKE WHUT OMG.

This is the anchor, which is my favourite part of this mani! Thank you for the great idea Celine, and MAN I LIKE THESE. I know I probably sound like a broken record saying that over and over again but I DO.
